A team of students from International business school won the first prize at a national university contest organized by Konica Minolta30 MARCH 2018
On 29 March 2018, a team of students from International Business School as followed:
Alexander Gavazov - a student from bachelor program "International Business";
Desislava Petkova – a student from bachelor program "International Business"; Emilia Palamarkova – a student from master’s program “Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Todor Baev – a student from master’s program "Entrepreneurship and Innovation", have become national winners at a university contest organized by Konica Minolta.
Willingness to participate in the national contest had five teams from universities in Bulgaria. Finalists at the end were teams from International Business School, American University in Bulgaria and the Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". For the purposes of the competition, the teams had to analyze the document flow or the information process at the university they represent, and to offer an innovative idea that would bring improvements to their institution in terms of quality, user experience or cost reduction.
Under the supervision of assist. prof. Daniela Georgieva the team from IBS won the competition with a project idea under the name of "Doctrina". The project proposal is offering a digital solution for improving the overall process of key administrative documentsflow. The project idea is an innovative solution with an ecological and social effect, based on the use of artificial intelligence and synthesized speech.
The project idea will be presented by the team on April in Amsterdam, where Konica Minolta organizes its international university contest. The contest will involve teams from five countries who will defend their ideas in front of international jury
