IBS took part in the seventh edition of “Panorama of Universities – 2023” in Blagoevgrad

IBS participated in the seventh edition of the “University Panorama – 2023,” organized by the Municipality of Blagoevgrad and the Center for Personal and Creative Development of Children in Blagoevgrad. The event took place on November 15, 2023, at the Youth Center in Blagoevgrad. Chief Assist. Prof. Dr. Irina Topuzova, a lecturer at IBS and the coordinator for the “Erasmus+” program, along with Chief Assist. Prof. Dr. Atanaska Cholakova, a lecturer and the head of the Career Center at IBS, met with dozens of knowledge-hungry students from Blagoevgrad, Bansko, Sandanski, Razlog, and the surrounding region. They presented the bachelor’s degree programs at our university, the application process, and the advantages of studying with us.

During the forum, a panel discussion took place with representatives from universities and students. Dr. Topuzova provided current information about the opportunities for education and internships abroad through the Erasmus+ program, which our students can benefit from during their studies. She also discussed the numerous charitable causes, cultural and sports events, clubs, and extracurricular activities organized by the Student Council in which our students actively participate.

Dr. Cholakova introduced the internship and career opportunities provided by the Career Center at IBS and available to our students. She invited all attendees to the specially organized Career Orientation Days and Open House events, which take place on-site at our modern, functional, and high-tech buildings in Sofia and Botevgrad. These events offer a unique opportunity for prospective candidates to explore various professions and industries. They assist high school students in making informed decisions about suitable bachelor’s programs based on their interests and the skills they need to acquire for their dream jobs.
