The International Business School of Bulgaria (IBSB) welcomed students from the Professional High School of Design “Elisaveta Vazova” for an educational visit held within the framework of their course “Business Design.” The students were accompanied by their homeroom teachers. The purpose of the event was to introduce young learners to the academic opportunities offered by the university and to inspire future entrepreneurs and creators.
The guests were officially welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Stella Baltova, Vice-Rector of IBSB, and Prof. Dr. Lalka Borisova, a faculty member, who extended a warm greeting and emphasized the importance of building connections between secondary education and higher business education.
The program continued with a presentation of the university by Hristina Tsonkova, Manager of International Student Admissions and Marketing. She introduced the students to the academic programs, IBSB’s competitive advantages, application procedures, the work of the Student Council, and the rich professional development opportunities available to the prospective students.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of the student business plan „Leora“ by the first-year students Anna Efendulova (majoring in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship), Tiana Doncheva (Business Administration and Project Management), and Nikoleta Angelova (Business Administration and Entrepreneurship). The project earned third place at the prestigious international NIBS Business Plan Competition – an achievement that reflects the high quality of education and motivation at IBSB.
In the spirit of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship, 11th-grade students from the “Fashion Design” and the “Interior Design” specializations presented their original business ideas and real products. Their innovative approaches, professional preparation, and personal dedication impressed both the academic community and their peers.
Special thanks were extended to Dr. Rumyana Antova, a teacher at PGD “Elisaveta Vazova,” for her contribution to the organization of the event, and to Ms. Daniela Shoshova, the school’s principal, for her active support and cooperation between the two institutions.
The visit provided the students with a firsthand look of the academic environment at IBSB and the potential paths for future education and development, allowing them to immerse themselves in a real-world business setting. IBSB continues to affirm its role as a place that inspires young people to discover their potential and confidently build their professional path in the dynamic world of business and entrepreneurship.
