ACCREDITATION AND RANKING

Founded in 1991, the International Business School is an independent, politically non-aligned, private higher education school.

The IBS provides education in BACHELOR`S, MASTER`S and PhD degree programmes in the following professional fields:

• Administration and Management;
• Economics;
• Tourism.

IBS is accredited by the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency of the Republic of Bulgaria. Since 2004 the International Business School has been operating Quality Management System in compilance with the requirements of the EN ISO 9001:2008 standard.

The European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) is introduced and applied with a view to achieving the objectives of the European Higher Education Area - high quality and tranSPArency of the teaching process and more possibilities for student mobility.

The International Business School has the honorary distinction DS Label of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) at the European Commission - proof of the quality of the education provided.

Upon their graduation students receive European Supplement to their diploma specifying the degree, content and status of the education they completed.

The International Business School cooperates effectively with national and foreign partners such as the Confederation of Employers and Industrials in the Republic of Bulgaria (CEIB), the Network of International Business Schools (NIBS), the Global Universities in Distance Education Association (GUIDE) and the European Distance and E-learning Network (EDEN).
