Admission Requirements for Masters Degree Programs

Admission to Master’s programmes is carried out following application and ranking based on submitted documents.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree Diploma, in accordance with Article 42, Paragraph 1, Point 1, Letter “b” of the Higher Education Act, or a “Master’s” Degree with a grade no lower than “good” and a minimum of 240 ECTS credits (original and copy).

For the academic year 2025/26, International Business School applies the global university practice and procedure for flexible admission throughout the year.

Early admission gives you the opportunity to submit your documents earlier than the standard application deadline. This guarantees you admission to your desired specialty.

RANKING

On the day of ranking, you will receive an email notification regarding the results, an invitation for enrolment, and the necessary instructions to follow.

ENROLLMENT

Enrolment is carried by the applicant in person or by a person authorised by the applicant.

Documents and Enrolment Procedure:

  1. Enrolment document package /obtained on-site/;
  2. Original and copy of the completed education diploma;
  3. Document confirming payment of the tuition fee for the first semester.

Payment can be made:

  • by bank card via POS terminal – at IBS when submitting documents;
  • by bank transfer – The fee is deposited into IBS’s bank account.

After successfully completing the application procedure, each candidate will receive a Registration Card with a unique access code for checking their ranking, either personally or via the email provided for contact.

Winter Semester

Semester Fees for Programs thought in English

1. Bulgarian and EU citizens

2. Non-EU citizens

Individual Study Plan

  • Enrollment in an additional course – 250 EUR / 489 BGN

Administrative Fees

  • Application fee / competitive entrance exam fee for Bulgarian and EU citizens – BGN 50.
  • Academic recognition, through NACID, of a degree of higher education acquired abroad, with the aim of continuing studies at MVBU – BGN 200.

Administrative fees are not refundable in case of refusal of the student or applicant from the service.

Tuition Fee Discounts

1. For students who have completed a Bachelor’s degree at IBSB

  • 10% discount when continuing their studies at IBSB in a Master’s program.

2. Family members studying at IBSB in any program, for all applicants from the EU and outside the EU (including Bulgarian citizens):

  • 10% discount for the second and each subsequent family member (spouses, siblings, parents and children) who completed their education at VUZF no more than five years ago
  • 25% discount for each second family member studying in the same academic year

3. One-time payment of the full annual tuition fee

  • 10% discount on the total annual fee

4. Corporate partners, private and non-governmental organizations with a signed agreement:

  • 10% discount on the annual tuition fee for the first academic year, including for employees wishing to enroll in Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral programs

Each enrolled student or PhD candidate at IBSB has the right to use only one discount per academic year.
