HR Management and Work Psychology

The “HR Management and Work Psychology” program is designed to meet the growing demands of the modern labor market and the complex challenges of human capital management in modern organizations. It offers a unique combination of deep theoretical knowledge and practical skills, focusing on the psychological aspects of human resource management and their application in real business environments.

The goal of the program is to develop you as a specialist with practical and cognitive skills for in-depth and multi-layered research of issues in the field of management and psychology, and with personal and professional competencies necessary for critical and original analysis. The training in the program provides you with in-depth knowledge of how you can effectively manage human resources in organizations, understand and apply psychological theories and practices to improve work performance, motivation and employee well-being.

The curriculum reflects the latest trends and needs published in 2022 in the Handbook for Developing Curricula in Human Resource Management, created by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

  • Analyzing, comparing, and synthesizing different theories in the field of human resource management and work psychology.
  • Current scientific discoveries and new approaches in practice.
  • The content of the work performed by human resource management specialists and why their work is important for the success of the organization.
  • Specifics of analyzing and designing positions in the organization, planning activities, recruitment, selection, training, and development of human resources in the organization.
  • Psychological theories and practices that improve personnel management and organizational effectiveness.
  • Regulations concerning occupational health and safety in the organization.
  • Fundamentals of labor law and knowledge of the mechanisms of collective bargaining.
  • Specific features of international human resource management, etc.

  • Implementing effective programs for motivation, training, and career development and supporting the work performance of staff.
  • Developing a comprehensive human resource management strategy and policy.
  • Working with specialized information systems and collecting, classifying, evaluating, and interpreting information to solve complex problems in the field of human resource management.
  • Generating procedures for introducing innovations and managing behavior in the workplace.
  • Analyzing the effects of applied HR practices on the work environment in the enterprise and developing recommendations for appropriate improvements with a view to increasing job satisfaction, motivation, and labor productivity.
  • Introducing effective management practices that comply with labor and anti-discrimination legislation and guarantee the rights of workers.
  • Building administrative and organizational structures and independently managing teams.
  • Solving complex problems in a dynamic environment with many interacting factors.
  • Developing and optimizing the socio-psychological processes taking place in the business environment.
