Semester Tuition Fees for the 2025/2026 Academic Year
А. TUITION FEES
I. Bachelor’s Degree Programs
1. Semester fee for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students in Bulgarian language
1.1. One-time payment upon semester enrollment – 1956 BGN / 1000 EUR
1.2. Payment in two equal installments – 2074 BGN:
First installment upon enrollment – 1037 BGN / 530 EUR
Second installment – for the winter semester by 30 November, for the summer semester by 31 March – 1037 BGN / 530 EUR
2. Semester fee for 4th year students in Bulgarian language:
2.1. One-time payment upon semester enrollment – 1620 BGN / 828 EUR
2.2. Payment in two equal installments – 1720 BGN / 878 EUR:
First installment upon enrollment – 860 BGN / 439 EUR
Second installment – for the winter semester by 30 November, for the summer semester by 31 March – 860 BGN / 439 EUR
3. Semester fee for students in programs tought in English language:
3.1. Bulgarian citizens – 1500 EUR / 2934 BGN
3.2. EU citizens – 1500 EUR / 2934 BGN
3.3. Non-EU citizens – 2100 EUR
4. Individual Study Plan
- Enrollment in an additional course – 250 EUR / 489 BGN
II. Master’s Degree Programs
1. Semester fee for programs in Bulgarian – 1956 BGN / 1000 EUR
2. Semester fee for programs in English:
2.1. Bulgarian citizens – 1500 EUR / 2934 BGN
2.2. EU citizens – 1500 EUR / 2934 BGN
2.3. Non-EU citizens – 2300 EUR
III. Doctoral Degree Programs
1. Annual tuition fee:
- Bulgarian citizens (full-time and independent study) – 3500 BGN / 1789 EUR
- Bulgarian citizens (part-time study) – 3300 BGN / 1687 EUR
- Foreign citizens – 3500 EUR
2. PhD Thesis Defense:
Bulgarian citizens – 1000 EUR / 1956 BGN
Foreign citizens – 1800 EUR
B. DISCOUNTS
1. Family Discount:
25% for each second family member when enrolled in the same academic year
10% for the second and each subsequent family member (spouses, siblings, parents and children) who completed their education at IBSB within the past five years
2. 10% for all students who completed a Bachelor’s degree at IBSB and continue with a Master’s program at IBSB
3. 10% discount for one-time payment of the full annual tuition fee
4. Early Admission to Bachelor’s Programs
- 10% discount for all students who pay the semester tuition in full between January 2 and May 31, 2026
- For conditional admission contracts for applicants graduating from secondary education in the current year
– Advance payment of 1000 BGN upon signing the contract
– 10% discount on the full semester tuition upon final enrollment.
5. 50% discount for full-time Bachelor’s students with over 75% reduced working capacity or full orphans up to 22 years old
6.Corporate partners, private and non-governmental organizations with signed agreements:
- 10% of the annual tuition fee for the first academic year, including for employees enrolling in Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral programs
7. Students admitted under early admission for the academic year 2025/2026 (between February 3, 2025 and July 9, 2025) pay a semester fee of 1620 BGN / 828 EUR
Each enrolled student or doctoral candidate at IBSB may use only one discount per academic year.
Refund of paid semester fees is carried out under the terms specified in the Training Agreement between the student and the International Business School.
IV. Administrative Fees
- Admission/Entrance exam for programs in Bulgarian and English – 50 BGN
- Issuing an individual protocol for an exam after the regular and resit session – 25 BGN
- Issuing an individual protocol for a grade improvement exam – 25 BGN
- Access to course for students with extended study period – 60 BGN
- Academic recognition (via NACID) of a higher education degree obtained abroad for the purpose of continuing education at IBSB – 200 BGN
- Academic transcript for individuals with terminated or inactive student rights (including graduates, withdrawn, dropped out, or released students) – 50 BGN
- Third sitting of the State Exam – 100 BGN
- Issuing a duplicate diploma – 100 BGN
- Graduation fee – 50 BGN
Administrative fees are non-refundable in case of withdrawal from the service by the student or applicant.
V. Payment Methods
- with a bank card at a POS terminal at IBSB administrative offices;
- by bank transfer, through online banking or Easy Pay – the fee is deposited into IBS’s bank account

Semester fees for the academic year 2024/2025
Educational Qualification Level: BACHELOR
- Semester Fee for the First and Second Year of Study in Bulgarian-language Programs: 1620 leva, payable:
- In full upon enrollment in the semester: 1620 lv.
- In installments of two equal payments:
– First installment: 860 lv. – upon enrollment in the semester
– Second installment: 860 lv. – for the winter semester by November 30 – for the summer semester by March 31
- Semester Fee for the Third and Fourth Year of Study in Bulgarian-language Programs: 1320 leva, payable:
- In full upon enrollment in the semester: 1320 lv.
- In installments of two equal payments:
– First installment: 710 lv. – upon enrollment in the semester
– Second installment: 710 lv.- for the winter semester by November 30 – for the summer semester by March 31
- Semester Fee for the First Year of Study in English-language Programs:
- Bulgarian citizens: 1300 euros
- EU citizens: 1300 euros
- Non-EU citizens: 2100 euros
- Enrollment in an additional discipline under an individual study plan: 405 Lv.
Educational Qualification Degree: MASTER’S
- Semester Fee for Bulgarian-language Programs: 1620 lv.
- Semester Fee for Study in English-language Programs:
- Bulgarian citizens: 1300 euros
- EU citizens: 1300 euros
- Non-EU citizens: 2300 euros
Educational and Scientific Degree: DOCTOR
Annual Tuition Fee:
- Bulgarian citizens, regular and independent form of study: 3500 lv.
- Bulgarian citizens, correspondence form of study: 3300 lv.
- Non-EU citizens: 3500 euros
Defense of Doctoral Dissertation:
- Bulgarian citizens: 1800 lv.
- Non-EU citizens: 1800 euros
Conditions for Tuition Fee Refunds
Refunds of paid semester tuition fees are carried out in accordance with the conditions specified in the education contract between the student and the International Business School.
Administrative Fees
- Entrance examination for Bulgarian and English-language programs: 50 lv.
- Issuance of an individual protocol for taking a semester exam after a regular and re-examination session: 25 lv.
- Issuance of an individual protocol for taking an exam in order to change the grade: 25 lv.
- Access to a course for students with extended study period: 60 leva
- Academic recognition, through NACID, of a higher education degree acquired abroad, for the purpose of continuing studies at IBS: 200 lv.
- Issuance of an Academic Certificate to persons with terminated or without student rights (including graduates, expelled, left or released): 50 lv,
- Third appearance on the State Exam: 100 lv.
- Issuance of a duplicate diploma for completed HE qualification level: 100 lv.
- Graduation: 50 lv.
Administrative fees are not refundable in case of refusal of the student or applicant from the service.
Tuition Fee Discounts:
1. 50% reduction on the semester fee for people with disabilities (with a TELK certificate) of 75% or more and for double orphans for bachelor’s programs.
2. For family members studying in all programs at IBS, for all applicants from the EU and non-EU countries (including Bulgarian citizens):
- 10% for the second and each subsequent family member (spouses, siblings, parents, and children) who graduated from IBS no more than five years ago.
- 25% for each second family member studying at the same time.
3. For continuing education in a Master’s degree after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree at IBS:
- 10% for all students from the EU and non-EU countries (including Bulgarian citizens) in all programs in Bulgarian and English.
Every enrolled student or doctoral student at IBS is entitled to use only one discount per academic year.
