United in Knowledge: Meeting between IBS and High School ‘Hristo Botev’ – Ihtiman
Prof. Dr. Milanka Slavova, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs at IBS, and Simona Mikhailova, President of the Student Council, visited Ihtiman’s High School “Hristo Botev”. They delivered a lecture on the topic “Marketing in the Digital Era.” The event was organized with the aim of presenting to the highschoolers the opportunities and advantages of studying in a university environment, as well as acquainting them with the latest trends and practices in the field of digital marketing.
The students attentively followed the presentation of various interactive teaching methods that the university implements in its programs. They actively participated in solving case studies, demonstrating the importance of marketing in the digital era for the success of business organizations and showcasing the practical application of its tools in real business situations.
Margarita Lyubomirova, a graduate of IBS and an active member of the Alumni Club, shared with the students how the education and experience gained at the university played a key role in her professional development. She emphasized that support from teachers and the connections established at the university had been crucial to her career. Sharing her personal experience, she inspired the students to pursue their dreams and make the most of the learning and development opportunities that IBS offers.
The lecture concluded with questions from the high school students, who showed great interest in the presented topic and in the bachelor’s programs offered by IBS. The possibilities for online application and the admission requirements were discussed.
The meeting with Mrs. Yordanka Kirilova Gerina, the school director, as well as with the teaching staff, was extremely productive. Forms of future collaboration between the two educational institutions were discussed, aiming to support both teachers and students in their professional and personal development.
The event inspired both our representatives and the hosts from High School “Hristo Botev”, marking the beginning of a promising and lasting partnership.
